I'm guesing the hair is wet......I like the look, very sexy.....nice crisp shot, great lighting.......would have maybe got rid of the second strap on the left side somehow.....but then you lose some of the black space too....which really makes this shot...

here is my advice on self portraits:
have an emotion or thought you want to express in mind if its expressive
if its just fashion use colorful accessories and backgrounds
get decent lighting coming from behind the camera
hold the camera or pose at different angles - from up, down, behind, just weird angles give more interesting views
and if you have photoshop - B&W is nice (don't just desat - use the mode and change it properly) and so is color - always laer once and t hen play with levels for fun to start off with
also you can cut the image once its doen and put into bigger canvases of white orblack if you want to use " negative space"

Thanks for the advice! I really need it. Hopefully, it'll help me more with understanding what it's like to behind the camera. And something else... I just can't think right now. Thanks though! (Maybe what photography is really about... I don't have a clue. I knew earlier today!)
