second in my no smoking print series.....i think its everyone's right to choose what to put into their bodies and to choose what risks they want to take in their lives.......
i personally prefer not to smoke........this series is done in the vein of fashion print media for ads to focus on what is ugly about smoking

Someone mentioned in an earlier comment (probably severeal peopl) how much they like the grayness & graininess in this shot. I think it really works for the image & message, making the piece more compelling & thought-provoking.

the gray skale of the picture, the tone, the fact that its in black en white, the pose that ur in, and the pepper mint thingy in your month, makes this a kick ass picture, i only think that u come on a bit too strong about the subject, i dont smoke my self, and i hate it as well....but still i think u came on a bit too strongly, which i persoanly dont mind, but others might. ger8 picture

I like the bnw and the graininess and the message is excellent. I'm a smoker myself, I started when I was in the 6th grade (11 years old).....how sad, I thought I was cool, so did my friends who are no longer friends. It was the only way I got to have friends too. Sad. I'm now 48 years old and I have emphezema........so you smokers out there PAY ATTENTION!! To me there is no excuse for anyone 30 and under smoking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You were educated in school about the dangers of smoking. When I started, there was a label....MAY BE HAZZARDOUS to your health, if that. Oh I could ramble to make my point across.......but I'll stop. LOL Thank God, eh? Good work Mary!

That being said, the greyscale is very nice here. There's also a good amount of "noise" present. At least to me. I don't really like the breaking of the words though, but it's understandable due to the picture.
