BurgerBunny I think it just has to be at least 50x50 px, Synfull said "usable as a 50x50 px avatar" which just means at least as large as, Synfull is that correct or shall I scale it down?

No, it needs to be usable as in it needs to be a 50x50 avatar which is 15KB or smaller in size. These are the requirements for a dA avatar
