“Witch!!” shouted several of the townsfolk as the young elf was shoved into a hard, wooden seat. Thin little arms were bound in front of her and a gag was pulled tight into her mouth. Tellesia pulled and twisted against the unfair incarceration. Her big sky blue eyes focused on her mistress, the dragon knight Sarendra, who was struggling to make it through the angry crowd to her little witch.“Stop it! Let her go!” the silver-haired elf shouted, growing frustrated that the townsfolk were so eager to ignore the word of a knight, sworn to King Nathan over rumors of witchery and debauchery. Neither of those things were inaccurate regarding Tellesia, but she didn’t deserve to be… probably burned alive! “I told you that she’s my servant! Leave her alone!”
Still ignoring the knight, the townsfolk locked Tellesia into the stocks and gagged her tightly. Once she was secure, the justice, the mayor, and her accuser stood before her. “Listen, witch! We’ve heard the evidence, seen the effect, and heard the testimony of your own Lady! And though she vouches for you, we must see some justice done by our laws!” pronounced the mayor, who got a nod of agreement from the justice of the peace.
Staring up at them, eyes wide with worry, Tellesia shook her head, tossing her long red hair as she frantically tried to dissuade them. It was a useless gesture as the mayor clapped his hands forcefully, and a hooded executioner came forth with all of the gravity of a hanging.
“No…” Sarendra begged, breathless and helplessly trapped behind the tightly-packed crowd, but she along with her young friend both blinked when the black shroud over the presented tools was pulled back to reveal three long, full feathers. The elven knight’s entire demeanor changed and her ears perked as a smile spread across her face. “Oh, is that all?”
The mayor chose first, taking the longest, softest one which he immediately ran up and down each of the little witch’s dirty feet. Her muffled laughter filtered through the gag and she clenched her eyes shut, wanting to just wish the feelings away, but the young elf knew that she was in for a test. If only Sarendra would stop them!
The mayor finished his initial tease and grinned, letting the justice and the accuser take their feathers. “Well, little witch, I hope you learn something from this!” The statement made her turn her frantic attention to Sarendra who was now trying to hide her amusement. Seeing Tellesia’s begging expression, the Dragon Knight just smiled and waved a dismissive hand before walking off to let the girl enjoy a day filled with mirth.
Tellesia’s ears drooped and she looked back to the mayor with guarded eyes. He was still wearing the same surprisingly good-natured grin. “Alright then. Let the lesson begin.”

Poor little Tellesia looks like she was born to be the woobie in someone's story.
I like the way her toes scrunch and spread like that. She's a pretty, waifish witch-elf. Although it seems like Sarendra doesn't entirely respect her maidservant.

I absolutely love when you do these. I know it's tamer than those exotique dark pleasures you're known for, but the sense of community-supported torture behind it is as wicked to me as the sacrificial town from "The Lottery."
Also you've improved your handling of this! There's lots of body language in Tellesia's struggle as well as her toes.
God what an era... we wouldn't need such frivolties as Tinder if we still had this as a society. Guarantee this would be the adult equivalent of putting bugs in each other's hair. Vex the vixen in the stockade until she naturally falls in love with you a week later from thinking about it!

I'm a cheater, gotta admit. There was this gorgeous renfaire photo, and I'm scared to say which one for fear that a legion of sockpuppets descend to demand a takedown. But it helped immensely.
Maybe we're better off without such a frivolous society, though. Otherwise certain members *cough* might commit various misdemeanors *coughcough* and wind up falling for too many touches that test her wits. *hacking fit*

Shirley Jackson's "The Lottery" is actually a parable/horror story that was very controversial when it was first published in 1948, but has become so famous and well-regarded that it's taught in literature courses (which is where I read it). Kent Brockman (yes, the Simpsons character) accurately described it as "a chilling tale of conformity gone mad." Not very sexy, though. That's really freaking flattering! I always hope people like what I do, but to know that it's actually something someone looks forward to, that's awesome! Admittedly, I'm not the writer, that's Jimmy's specialty. I did do a picture of Magda in stocks a few years back, but it's not quite as you described.

Well, Vi doesn't write it. I write it. She makes the awesome pictures. I just write what I feel is great. You might want to be a bit more personal if you wish to get Vi's attention. I expect you to ignore me up front, so... Vi makes the images. I write the stories. You'll never read that.
