Description In honor of the original novel, the brilliant 1942 movie, Jungle Cubs (which did a far better job than the supposedly classic movie) and , for many reasons, THE BEST ADAPTATION EVERΒ www.youtube.com/watch?v=zlbIhP… . Yes I added some Rikki Tikki characters because I wanted more birds and snakes (True Story !)

And in case you're wondering, the new movie trailer had me rolling my eyes on more than one ...

There's another Jungle Book coming out in 2018 directed by Andy Serkis.

It might be good at least I hope so I heard that Benedict Cumberbatch will be voicing Shere Khan.

Yes, he was a giant crocodile who had a dagger buried in his head scales.Β

He is mentionned in the book, but yeah, the show version was shown as a formidable gregarious predator.

I think Tabaqui may be a little too based on a black-backed jackal here. His actual species is the golden jackal, which has much shorter ears and has a more rounded snout.

To be honest with you , the photos I worked with had some unclear limits as where the light and dark shades of its fur start or end. Also, I am a bit of a noob when it comes to drawing canine critters . XD

Well might as well look at it again, there is an new one coming up next year that I'm looking forward to, and I do like that its taking some elements from Kipling's book.

The drawing looks rather impressive. To be honest, I preferred the original novel over the Disney film.

And I take it that you're not going to like the new film. Is that correct?

I think it's gonna miss the point... also, Scarlet Johanson as Kaa ? Why Β not have Michelle Pfeiffer as Donald Duck ...

What did Jungle Cubs did better? all I know Is that it "kind of" adapted the red dogs story
Well done by the way, the sole moment I suspected you were going to mention the anime was when I saw Mowgli's hairstyle

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

devilkais In reply to Ruyc [2015-12-06 16:50:34 +0000 UTC]

Very simple . It just kept the good characters and threw away the little shit that was Disney Mowgli.
