Seriously, so many of my faves are here: Shinnok, Tanya, Sareena, Reiko, Ashrah, even Quan too from a certain point of view. I'm not a fan of Drahmin and Moloch but damn, even they look badass when drawn by you! Angry Quan is angry, probably because of how he was portrayed in MKX by the NRS team. I mean, he was supposed to be weaker since he wasn't in the possession of his master's amulet but his jobbing was still overkill.
All in all, the Netherrealm has so many badass denizens and affiliates and this is a perfect poster of them
P.S. I share your opinion about the new timeline revenants. Lame and disappointing since barely any of them escaped. What bothered me even more was that Nightwolf and Liu weren't even supposed to be there! Nightwolf because he's such a powerful shaman, his soul isn't supposed to be subdued so easily. And Liu Kang wasn't even in the revenant bunch at MK9's end, WTF! Now everyone who dies automatically goes to Quan & co.?

Drahmin and Moloch are actually badass in DA. These are 2 demons that even Quan Chi FEARED that they'd find him again. It's no wonder that Shang trusted them to keep an eye on him so to speak...
Oh, and I forgot to say: As for the inclusion of Baraka, Reptile and Mileena here, it's due to their roles in the MK4 story (Mileena's resurrection is what started these inclusions , specifically because of this chapterΒ www.fanfiction.net/s/2851995/1β¦ . Funny that she does even the revenant shtick better than her sister.) and because I like them a lot. Noob Saibot and Scorpion are what kickstarted the Netherrealm inclusion in the story and while I know Hanzo was not exactly a servant of Shinnok or Quan Chi, I don't see him disobeying a direct order or not listening them .

That's still pretty much how it was, just down the road it has gotten so convoluted and it messed up the story of the Sub-Zero brothers as well - this is mostly true for the comic though. In the actual games the reboot was the thing that created the most confusion.
That ending became partially true for MKD, with Scorpion being "rescued" by the Elder Gods. I liked his neutral role in that game BTW.
