Based on... well exactly how Gerardo Sandoval drew him in the Warzones mini AND the usual outfit he wears through most of AoA !Wanna know something funny ? Sabretooth's character development in "Age Of Apocalypse" is pretty much a parallel to Deadpool's character development. For the most part it's about a horrible (Victor somewhat surpasses Wade there in both realities) mercurial murderers who decide over time to become better people (and it took Victor much longer to process that change).
And while I do think Exiles would've been even better if Blink never found her mentor Sabretooth ever again (I'd rather have her meet Nate...) due to the AoA reality being erased straight up, I was not displeased to see him again since he still has a love for killing and is an overall jerk most of the times.
Sure, this Creed shows genuine empathy, but he's no angel at all & is the first to straight up admit it !
