The Final Flash Boss at last ! Man, only 4 Flash villains till now and not a single speedster (yeah ZOOM ain't a Speedster actually...)?

I really gotta speed up my game !
Anyhoo, I give you Hunter Zolomon after he got imbued with an excedingly terrifying version of chronokinesis, due to the cosmic treadmill exploding. He can accelerate time or slow it around him and produce extremely powerful shockwaves. Sure he cannot vibrate his molecules like actual speedsters BUT since he can easily match/surpass them in speed, that more than makes up for that limitation. Unfortunately, such an ability comes at the cost of his sanity: as ZOOM, Hunter is devoured by the idea that tragedy is fuel for actual strength and he believes that causing Wally West misery WILL make him a better Flash. To be fair, Hunter himself has to see instances of his past, especially the one mistake that cost him the life of his father-in-law and his marriage. Not that different from what Hank Henshaw experienced in his isolation... Hey, Tragic Villains are hardly forgiveable villains !

To this day, I still consider Blitz to be the final Flash arc and Ignition the perfect epilogue; Wally and Linda have to move on despite the loss of their kids while a saddened Ashley Zolomon observes a stuck-in-THAT-moment ZOOM relieving it ad nauseum. Then again, even Waid's last arc had a bitter taste end for Walter West so this was just taking it to the logical next step... And someone give Gorilla Grodd CREDIT ! He kickstarted this whole mess !
