I did this one for :user icon Caldy: of his character.She's a snow leopard... Ok she's a curvy snow leopard.
I forgot her hair was brown, and made her this lovely platinum blonde color. It was awesome. Wish I'd been able to scan her in before I fixed her. And her eyes are green, gold, and brown. she's a mix of color pencil [mostly, and markers [her spots and clothes].
His description was simple enough that i could actually have fun with it.

I don't actually know. I've been drawing like this since I was little. I do know that practicing makes you a whole helluva lot better, hence the art theme 100 you see everywhere. More you draw the better you get. =^_-= References are good. Mostly for furry art, (i don't have critter marking memorized) and how the muscles in the body should look. That's why life drawing classes are good, but the cheap method is draw people sitting around. Good fashion and sport magazines help... As well as adult magazines, but I won't get into that right now. o_0 Pose File is the best series of books for artists i've ever seen, but they cost over $39 a pop but they're worth it. The stock photo accounts here are good too! You just don't get any of the angles the professionals can. =T_T= Draw great eyes. The eyes are the window of the soul. =^_^=

oh my. She may be one of the prettiest cats in anthro history. Her body's curvature as well as the pose light up this dynamic image. Also, the thing with her tail (how it comes out arched) that's very attractive.

Hmm, i think i go in cycles. Sometimes I'm in the moodto draw guys sometimes im in the mood to draw girls. This month it's been manga/anime guys over on Yaoi_art the live journal and cat girls on DA. I did a Valentines day leopard with heart spots and wings but can't get an empty scanner to use. =\

Thankyou! The color pencils were on my side this time around. XD Sometimes they aren't. 0_o; Most of the time I get good results or great depending on which ones I use. You know I think this may be one of the first times I used a really dynamic pose like this in a picture. I'm glad it worked out so well.
I usually switch between anthro, and anime, mostly. and landscapes
I'll be working on pics of all 3 at the same time but only post 1 here.
