for the livejournal community furartchallenge!It wasn't easy to get her to look this good. Weedy Sea dragons aren't exactly the cutest thing in the ocean. And i like sea horses and there cousins so that's saying alot.
She's colored with color pencils and inked with my Neopiko pens!

Yessss. I tried once but I got frustrated cause I couldnt do it justice. That was a while ago though I may try again.

I'll send a note if I get around to doing one....but dont hold your breath over it. I think I need to find some more photo's first.

Most of my first tries never look the way I want them to either. that's why I'm glad there's a scrap gallery. 
You can try a search for sea horse images, that's how I found a nice model for my pic. Tropical fish tank sites would work well.

my dad has a boat in jamaica, and one day i was leaning over the side of the pier, moving my home made net (a hanger unbent and with an onion bag wrapped onto it) and suddenyl i felt the net get heavier as it moved around, and when i pulled it out there were three seahorses in it
my uncle got mad at me when i put them back in the water, he said if i had kept them i could have sold them for a LOT of money, but i was five, five year olds care more about the seahorsey than the money ... in which case i may as well still be five

Thankyou. I tried to color it the way the real life weedy sea dragons look. They're gold brown with blue stripes.

Actually i just changed to my REALLy good set of color pencils, it makes the colors come out better but there's 120 of them in the set so i don't want to drag them around campus. Plus weedy sea dragons are actually those colors. ;D I should've put a picture to the sea dragon website I found.
