people should learn to reserve their judgement until they have had tried it or experienced it first. There's nothing wrong with hating something based off of personal experience but it's wrong to hate something just because someone said to or because it's popular.

I hate something if it's popular AND stupid.
i.e., if I ran across something stupid that a few people liked, I'd say "eh," but if it hits critical mass I get annoyed and bewildered that it could do that.

I like what I like, not because all others like it!
For example, I don´t give a shit about the music charts, I listen to the music which I think sounds good...
And I don´t like a song just because I like the musician, even some musicians I like have songs that I don´t like that much...

Same here. I tend to listen to metal but if it's a hip hop song that I think sounds good, I won't pretend I don't like it. ^^

I agree with that! The only thing more annoying than people who only follow the latest trends in clothes, music, and whatever else are the people who go out of their way and make a show of avoiding every trend. People should just like what they like, you know?
