I gotta admit I have no idea wtf that was. It's not a well, mind you. It's just an old piece of rusted metal in the middle of nowhere. *shrug*...tho there WAS an old well not very far from this. Maybe this was used to draw water from it, ages ago.

Looks too big to be a lawn mower. And it didn't have any wheels (or a place where wheels could have eventually been). And no blades. My bet's still on a water-retrieving mechanism.
