Lauren jolted awake with Carter and Shaun, rubbing her eyes sleepily like eveyone else. They looked at one another questionly, Lauren tensed up as the ferrise wheel began to move once again. Shaun looked out of the window, blinking questionly at the sceenery before him; the amusement park was COMPLETELY different than the one they where at, more lively and more excitement than ever before.

"Where not in Kansas anymore..." Shaun said aloud, Lauren gave him a confused stare, "What?"

"We where never in Kansas to begin with..." Lauren pointed out cluelessly, everyone but the said girl ultimetly facepalmed themselves.

"Its a quote, idiot!" Carter said alittle harshly to the light tan skinned brunette, making her eyes water before she understood the quote. The ferrise wheel slowly let's them off of the ride, they hurrily escaped the place before getting a map of the whole place; it was more complex the more they thought about it.

"Alright, I had it!" Lauren suddently said, "Did you guys see a guy in a black cloak?"
"Yeah, I saw him in the fair to my left by the entrance...." Carter said, "Though, I thought he was a illusion..."

"I saw him once we got off of the bus..." Lauren pieced together, "What about you Shaun?"

"I saw him from the ferrise wheel, right at the top..." Shaun said, pushing up his falling glasses, "Otherwise, I haven't seen him since..."

Carter and Lauren noded in agreement, everyone saw the guy in the black cloak walk by in the crowd towards a Alice-in-Wonderland style super-jumbo-extra-large fun house. They ran after the person, catching the attention of a certian aquamerine eyed person.

"Somethin' the matter, Riku?" Sora asked his companion and park partner, the group split up into pairs to go exploring.

"I just sense something really strong from the direction of the Wonderland themed fun house..." Riku said, Sora noded absentmindedly in agreement before the attention of the parks' new Super Coaster grabbed his vision.

"Riku! Let's go ride that new coaster!" Sora said estaticly, pointing to the Super Coaster, "You know! Apocoliptic Ruin!"

Before Riku could respond, Sora was dragging him in the direction of the parks newest attraction as the trio made it to Wonderland by going through the rabbit hole shapped entrance.

"Whoa..." Everyone mouthed, looking at all the Wonderland that they where in. All the workers where dressed up based on the Wonderland theme, making the visitor feel like they where Alice. They spotted the cloaked man entering one of the many doors that lead to different parts of Wonderland along the pathways, they followed him towards a section off part of Wonderland.

Lauren touched the blacken door, a dark feeling shot through her body on contact before she snapped her hand back to her body. The hair on the back of Carter's neck rose up imeditly as Shaun's body stiffened slightly, a growling sound echoed in the air.

"This area is restricted to the public..." A voice said from behind the trio, they whipped around imeditly to face the owner of the voice, "I'm going to have to ask you to move away from this area..."

"A-Alright..." they said at the same time, hurring away from the door imeditly as the guards glared darkly and shifted forms quickly before changing back instantly. Lauren, Carter and Shaun wandered around Wonderland with amusement and excitement in their eyes with each step.

Suddently, a scream admitted from the big center in Wonderland as people began to scatter away like mice escaping a cat. The trio looked at one another before taking off in the direction of the scream, screeching to a hault when they came face to face with something not human. It was holding the fallen persons' heart in its grasp as the person faided away in sparkles.

"I dont know if I should be intreged or disturbed by the fact of the person disappearing and the thing holding a heart in its grasp...." Lauren mumbled, Carter really did want to smack her upside the head but was more disturbed at the fact she whitnessed murder. As for Shaun, he was resisting the urge to kick the things into the next centery for he was frozen from fear. The thing screeched out a sound that was a calling for more, pockets of shadows appeared while surrounding the trio.

"Oh great!" Carter hissed out loud, jumping out of the way as Lauren pushed Shaun away. She was sent back from a scratch on her shoulder, it started to bleed and a black mist slowly started to come out from the wound. Lauren's vision started dancing with sploctes of black in her sights. She colapsed onto one of her knee's, breathing heavily as the poision coarsed through her veins while Shaun kneeled down beside her.

"You alright?" Shaun asked, helping Lauren up from her fallen state.

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine...." Lauren panted out alittle, willing her body to get up and push Shaun out of harms way as she fell forward. Lauren narrowly missed loosing her heart as thoose armored knight looking things appeared, she willed her body up again, "What are thoose things anyway..."

"I wish I knew..." Carter said as she jumped over to her friends, she looked tired from moving around so much, "All I know is that they are attacking everything, but why?"

"Lets get out of here first!" Shaun said, picking up his fallen friend before running. They ran away from the things, taking a sharp turn and passed a group of people. Riku's eyes locked onto the group that ran by, eyes widening at the darkness radiating off of Lauren's wound as they retreated. The sound of a heartless cry echoed from the Wonderland area as a giant hand reached out from a gaping black hole from the sky above.

"That thing his HUGE!!!!" Sora yelled as the wind whirled by like a mini hurricane, People scrambled away as the huge figure (which wasn't that huge, they handled bigger stuff than that and LIVED) stood on the now cleared grown below. It looked like the Dark Shadow and Trickmaster combined, which had Sora and Riku frowning alittle.

"Holy cow, that thing is MASSIVE!!!" Carter and Shaun said at the same time, they could see it from the distance they where at as they stopped to check on Lauren's injury. The bleeding stopped yet the black mist was still radiating off of it, which had the duo concerned. Lauren groaned and pushed herself off of the ground, leaning against the wall for support as her friends insisted she stayed down and rest.

"I see that you finally arrived..." A dark and deep voice said, causing the trio's eyes to open up very wide at the semi-familiarity of that voice. They whipped around, or really Lauren atempted to but ultimately just looked over her shoulder before turning fully, and looked for the sound of that voice but never found its body, "Its futile to look for me, but alas your going to find me... eventually~"

"Who are you?" Lauren chocked out, finding it hard to use her voice.

"I advise you to... how do I say this... Get help...?" the voice continued, ignoring Lauren's question, "Or that poision is going to kill
you, Lauren."

"W-What?!" Shaun said, looking at Lauren's wound as she began to cough profuriously and colapse onto her knees. The voice laughed darkly before slowly echoing away into silence, Lauren paled signifigantly as her eyes began to dull while her friends voices slowly grew dimmer and dimmer.

"Shaun! Go get help!" Carter ordered, "Quickly!"

"Uh--Yeah--Right!" Shaun agreed, turning to get help, "Hang in there Lauren!"

Shaun took off running into the crowd of people who hurried away, eventually running into a familiar long redish-brown haired heronie. He stopped short infront of the flower shop's table, panting heavily and hunched over.

"Are you alright?" She asked with concern, getting a glass of water that Shaun drank down eagerly, "Is something wrong?"

"Y-Yeah!" Shaun said after he caught his breath, "My best friend got scratched by this shadow thingy that had poision and she needs help!"

"Can you take me to her, please?" The kind woman asked, Shaun noded eagerly and straightend up before turning to leave.

"Dang it Shaun..." Carter hissed lowly, pacing back and forth after setting Lauren up against the wall, "Where are you...."

"Carter!!!" Shaun called out to her, waving his hand as the woman followed behind with a small bag in her hand, "How is Lauren doing?"

"Not well, she looks paler than before..." Carter said as Shaun came to a hault, "Who's the woman?"

"Oh yeah! Her name is Aerith, she said that she could help Lauren out!" Shaun said, Aerith waved nicely before looking as serious as possible for her cheerey personality.
"This isnt good..." Aerith said, shaking her head, "We need to get her out of here, alright?"

"Yeah, lets go..." Shaun said, picking Lauren up again before following Aerith back to her shop, "What are we doing here again?"

"I need to grab a few important things and make a important call...." Aerith explained, grabbing some unkown items before dialing a number on speed dial, "Hey, Its me Aerith. Can you meet me at your place please, its urgent! Really? Thanks! Be there soon..."

Aerith hung up before ushering everyone out of the shop, hurring them to her car after locking up her shop. They got in the car; Aerith behind the wheele, Carter with Lauren in the back, and Shaun in the passenger side of the car. They pulled off imeditly, driving down the road away from the amusement park and for about 30 minutes to an hour on the highway before entering a city known as Hollow Bastion.

"Aerith!" A familiar long black haired heronie called out as she parked her car in the garage. She came over to her friend and blinked at the younge trio, "Who are the kids?"

"No time to explane Tifa, I'm going to need to borrow a bed!" Aerith said, Tifa noded and led her to the familiar blond haired delievery boy's room. Aerith told shaun to place Lauren on the bed, he did and they covered her up before removing her bloody clothes after kicking Shaun and Carter out of the room. They heard Lauren scream and cry from pain as they treated her wounds, finally subsiding and letting her friends back in.
"Will she be alright?" Carter asked, fighting back tears that wanted to spill, "She'll be back to normal, right?"

"I really dont know..." Aerith said, "But I do know that we caught the poision before it could spread to her heart..."

"But I do have a few questions to ask..." Tifa cuts in, looking over at Lauren's resting form, "And I want complete answers too..."

"Alright..." Shaun and Carter said at the same time, Tifa led them out of the room and downstairs to ask some questions while hearing their story...

Will she believe them? Or will she think they are just crazy?
