Hard to put into words how much (and why) I love this image
But I'll try and at least list a few random things that popped into my head when I saw this.
The name is brilliant and I love the logo. The dark-to-light feathering in the background takes me right back to Raymond's early Flash Gordon. The spaceship, the figure and the pose all invoke the fun and excitement of '50s and '60s comics and pulp space opera novels, but with a modern "punch" behind it.
I guess what appeals most to me is that this somehow takes me back to the first sci-fi stuff I saw and read, and it manages to re-create the excitement I felt at the time
