This one feels a bit like Steranko. I guess I could have sealed the deal by adding a swirling , hypno graphic to one of the backgrounds to really drive it home, but that really wasn't what I set out to do. I'm really enjoying the fact that since I re-designed the logo, I can now use it in the overall design as opposed to letting it just sit there on top of the page getting in my way like most comic cover trade dress. To bad I still have to deal with the horrible scourge called the UPC box. I mean, seriously!?! Does it have to be so freaking BIG! Not at all. But nobody wants to rock the boat in the name of beauty.Related content

Very cool. Since Marvel's putting emphasis on an already existing character for the new Punisher Max, I hope they do that for more characters, especially Nick Fury. I love the Max version of him.

Nailed the kingpin, he doesn't seem hokey to me at all. However, you kind of copped out and only showed a tiny bit of him.

I don't really read comics much anymore, but I was just curious what the bulk of your work consists of. Are you doing more covers than interior work these days? Do you also do other illustration work besides comics?
