The Rivers Rushing Voice..
"even when i whisper..."
Location: Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada.
Subject: Kicking Horse River and Mountainous Range.
Taken with: Canon Powershot S5 IS
Cropping & Resize: Adobe Photoshop CS2
I decided to keep this photograph in colour, mainly to show that I did actually see the gorgeous greeny/blue water on my travels and not just ice and snow! Our crazy tour guide decided to take a swim in this river as we all ate our lunch (shivering in our jackets!) watching his weirdness in amazement! lol Not only did he swim in a freezing cold river, but he dove into the snow when we were at Peyto Lake...! This guy was just totally insane, but so much fun!
This is one of the better images that I got that day, the weather was a bit touch and go most of the time, with freak rain, hail and snow storms that just came out of nowhere. I have a few of Peyto Lake that I will be uploading soon.

Beautiful shot! I just love the mountain in the background. I really wish I could've seen them the one time I went out west, but it was RAINING the whole time, and I didn't see ANY mountains because of it

Simply stunning shot. You've done a very nice job at taking a very appealing photograph. You have captured the harmony of nature very nicely here. All the natural angles that direct the eyes attention to the mountains and the sky above add a very nice touch. Very well done. I would be interested in seeing the same photograph with a time lapse to smoothen out the water coursing down the stream. Very well done.

I'll be in Banff in about a month for a few weeks. I love it up there but I havn't been in years.
