Description
"During the reign of the pharaohs...the ancient being known only as THE WIZARD had found someone he believed to be worthy to be his successor of the gift. That man was a mighty warrior known as Tethatum; like others before him, he only needed to speak the word SHAZAM and he was transformed into an immortal blessed with the powers of 6 gods (Shu, Horus, Amun, Zehuti [another name for Thoth], Aten, and Mehen)...The Wizard felt in his heart that Tethatum would make the world a better place for centuries to come...but he was decieved; as vengeance for being forced into slavery as a child, Tethatum used his godly power to murder the pharaoh and created the kingdom of Khanadq, which he ruled with an iron fist. His heart heavy with regret but unable to remove the power of the word...The Wizard banished Tethatum to a dead planet in the furthest corner of the galaxy. Filled with rage, Tethatum immediately left the planet and made his way back to earth...flying through space on a journey that would take him more than five thousand years. Now he has returned to earth to face The Wizard's NEW champion, the young Billy Batson, as BLACK ADAM"

I always kind of enjoyed the story of Black Adam, but I felt like his design was kinda lack luster (especially with the new 52 design where he looks nearly IDENTICAL to Shazam)...so I fixed that by accentuating his ancient Egyptian roots & adding a few tears to his cape. And since his name is "Black Adam", I figured that after he murdered the Pharaoh and established Khandaq, the lighting he uses should be like a black light! & I tried a new technique for identifying metals in comics & I LOVE how it came out! Definitely going to be using this more from now on.
