Description
I sit upon a large green grape,I eat a yellow piece of cheese,
I strive to find a quick escape,
I shiver fast and widely gape,
And I’m just about to swiftly freeze.
I sit inside a small room of blue,
This is my wholesome prison,
I wish the stories all were true,
Out of the door they’ve all flew
‘Cause from the ceiling they’ve all risen.
Guess where inside I used to creep,
I went inside into the fridge,
I took a rest and fell asleep,
And here I sit, they try to keep,
I often think I won’t leave this ridge.

I really like how it is written from a mousies prespective. Also the last paragraph did a really good job of explaing the "story" while keeping the poetic sense

Thank you! It's a little better than what I've been posting lately because it has structure, but I've been so picky lately. I went to poetry.com and believe me you will the poetry there. Even I did.

er. poetry.com is a known scam--its poetry is not worth your time, trust me. If you wanna get good, read the good stuff :} There's some on dA, but beyond that, there are also HUNDREDS of highly selective e-zines and magazines with internet archives out there with proffessional poetry. If you want, I can send you some lists.
