the way of the arm reminds me of the Chicken Run animation... so it is interesting, but i dont think for this piece it adds too much. the splattered paint is always such a beautiful and very affective touch! overall composition is good too

yeah i was rather disappointed with the arm, my shading skills and realism attempts really aren't that great.

practice makes perfect is the only advice i can give, and play around with colors by trying to make them lighter/darker than one another but by only a few more touches of one another if u know what i mean...i think u have a lot of potential! :hug

it's not so much creating the colours for shading, but apply the paint to create the shading.... it's difficult for me to figure out where/what to shade, but I'm getting there
