My point is that the only similarity between the two characters is the mask (in Bard's case, this is his actual face). Hardly a rip-off.

not seeing Kanvic's beef at all
Jax looks like a fighter with some vague arabian themes with some japanese thrown in
Bard looks like some joyful Miyazaki-like fairy being
if you mean the mask and the somewhat husky build... thats a bit much to call him a ripoff over just those elements
in that case every female champ with big boobs on a small waist is a ripoff of the first champ with that general look
kinda like... 'the winter soldier has dark clothing and has a slightly gasmask-looking face cover, he's just a darth vader ripoff'
there needs to be WAY more similarities over the whole being of the character for ripoffness to take root
then again if thats really what you see... then thats what you see
