Description
my entry to the *JewelryClub 's season contest. Ten out of ten if you guessed it's a winter entry (you genius!)The little drop pendant can come off and be hung on a chain (to be honest, it's not a necklace you'd wear with jeans now is it), hence the details on the bottom left. This was my first piece of jewellery made from wire, so it was a major learning curve, and is a little rough around the edges

lovely lovely lovely!!! I really need to learn how to wrap, my wire wrapping skills are nill at the moment hehe. This necklace is so elegant, kind of reminds me of the elven jewelery from Lord of the Rings.

thank you so much!
Wire wrapping is just a matter of gritting your teeth and making lots of mistakes

I love how this is versatile. I didn't notice that the first time I looked I hate that we have to dull something down to wear it with jeans these days. Blah lol

yeah, most unfair.
I actually made it so the pendent came out so that it could be worn with normal tops.... because you need quite a fancy neckline to carry off the whole piece

I hear ya. I'm constantly making adjustments so you don't need an evening gown to wear something. *sigh*

I guess until a higher percentage of what I make sells I'll just make things that are fun to make

I really like the intricacy of composition combined with the relative simplicity of the color scheme. Beautiful!

I guess, because we don't do it in college there's no one who's going to give out about my jewellery making

of course! What else would it be doing in my gallery?
It's probably not the most practical piece of jewellery in the history of ever, but hey
