Okay I know I'm a bad deviant... I'm not updating on a regular basis... but I have two other pieces in progress right now, and they'll follow soon, one is a commission I made...was a bit pissed off, because paypal won't accept my money transfers and my subscription ran out and
anyone who wants me to give a month or two? no?! too sad I'm also changing art against sub... would post it into my journal but then my pretty css look would be lost about this picture:
it's a quick one, almost no details but nevertheless pretty charming in my eyes.

It looks great how the horse on the left is covered by the mist and the one on the right seems to be coming out of the mist. It's a wonderful piece of artwork

I can't describe how much I love horses and this artwork caught my eye right away. It's hard to work having a small range of colors in mind and you did an excellent job on everything! The lights and shadows are wonderful!

A wonderful painted texture, but this would be even more beautiful with just a small amount of area of sharp detail, like a vew whips of mane and whiskers. Otherwise I am just jealous that this is not my picture.

Great work on making the steam and hot breath look realistic and fitting. You certainly mastered the lighting in this pic. A very atmospheric piece. The only thing I would have done different would be the mane on the horses. A bit more detail would have made the pic almost photorealistic. But maybe that wasnt your aim! Looks great. A definite fav.

very chiaroscuro! love it... very cool.. I agree with the others.. the tack is amazing.. as is the rest of the picture... as for the comment regarding making the fog/mist/breath smooth... I prefer it just as it is.. the gradient areas really match the overall style and add to the depth in my opinion...
