This is stunning, one of the nicest pieces of art I've seen actually. I can easily imagine this as the cover of a fantasy novel, except in terms of artistic ability it surpasses about 99% of the covers on the market!
So much I could comment on here, but I'm particularly taken by the contrasts, that among other things produce such a strong composition with the darks and lights. More so, the contrast of shapes and lines like the soft flowing gown with the hard lines of rain that look so sharp I think you must have etched them in. The diagonals in the background, repeated by some of the slanting rain is brilliant. Everything here is superlative.
Perhaps the nicest compliment I can pay you... is to pay you! I just ordered a print of this.

You're very welcome Ron! The print I ordered of this came yesterday and is every bit as striking and beautiful as the original artwork. I ordered a 16"x20", I only wish I'd gotten it even larger. Thank-you for your beautiful artwork, it's be an inspiration to me even though I work in a completely different medium. This year I'll be doing much more with digital manipulations and dark fantasy themes.
