So I've been brushing up on my photoshop skills and decided to do something a bit macabre, but real macabre. The base photo is a photo I took of myself outside when it was raining and windy. I used two past images of eyes to get the effect for the eye.Input it greatly appreciated :3

I am 58 now. Still, have long dark hair. And always piercing blue eyes. My Birthday, Dec 14th, same as, and even birth-time was extremely close to Nostradamus.

The look is so on one side of me, it's tremendous.

It's great work, but a monster I am not. But I guess there always was the "other side"of us all.
My picture at 56 with short hair is on the Inet, But I have worn long hair since I have been 17. I have only had it cut short 3x previous. It's long again, now. My wife even took a 2nd breath when I showed her this work.

Not really sure what to say to this message. I was really just playing around in Photoshop when I made it. The title "Mezmoreyes" came from a System of a Down song "Mesmerize" and I added the "eyes" part since it was the main focus of the art piece. The typo I originally made is quite a coincidence.

It also kind of reminds me a bit of the Good Apollo comic that went with the Coheed and Cambria album of the same name.

But I especially adore the eyes, they definitely bring the photo together as a whole, while adding a sense of mystique and macabre beauty to it.

It looks really really good though, the tone of skin with the darkness of the hair. And then the eye just stands out over everything else. It's certainly a good focal point.

The shot looks fantastic. One thing you could do is overlay a texture and blend it in with the image.

I tried a couple textures but wasn't overall happy with the effect, mostly due to my lack of time to find something decent. I'll have to keep that in mind for next time.

Macabre is horror, not nessecarily scary. Horror was the idea I had in mind.
But I also don't care much for labels. Art is art. I spend more time picking a category than I do writing the description.

I think you did a brilliant job. I'm guessing you used a few adjustment layers?

The only thing that was placed on layers was the eyes. I used due-tones for the effect and diffue glow to lighten.
