Description
I was going for a beautiful mermaid crying over a lost love in order to show that love can be poison that we take the risk of enduring. I failed to get the face or body pose very feminine so I opted for a sea witch.

There's something quite exhilarating and frightening about putting ink to a canvas. I had to constantly hold back the bubbling fear that every stroke was permanent and could not be undone. I found my hands drifting down to where my undo keyboard shortcuts would be and my eyes would search for the layers and history tabs on the screen so I could go back to previous state.
