I do, your vision of Red is so powerful. I could see her ripping open castle gates and portcullis to rescue her princess or save the city.

As a warrior, she must look powerful too. Bugs me off the fact that people makes heroines that relies on strenght looking as thin top models - not that they should make those girls looking like a fbb, but they could give some muscles and not only shoulders that are slight wider...

You hit on exactly why I created Red as my first character and heroine. All you could see where heroines that looked like supermodels not warriors. Even She Hulk was too small and Red Sonja is still a joke in size. I think a strong well muscled woman is one of the most beautiful things in the world.

yeah. The last time I saw She Hulk appearing in an animation she was just taller - they forgot the hulk part... This thing applies in games too, while in early Β 90's, in fighting games, the girls had some muscles (at least in the illustrations, 'cause the graphic wasn't that revealing), with the time they ended looking more and more as models. I think it's funny the portrait in animes and games of the girl that is pretty cute and has a mismatching huge strength to make a contrast, but this is not the idea that they want to pass in this cases above.

yeah, in MK9 the girls looks like fighters (with a big pair of air bags to reduce the impact, lol) and not only as topmodels.

I hate how they wear super slutty overly revealing outfits, those should have been alternate costumes, but other than that they have amazing physique, I love how they have their own muscle tone (jade: 2 pack, mileena: 4 pack, kitana: 6 pack), the reason I never liked it was because it left out the most important part of a fighting game, the quickmatch, it's why I played Guilty Gear for 5 years, MK doesn't ever have one so I get bored after a week

each game with their own problems... I don't care much about their outfits 'cause I'm a perv, lol, but I've to say that I thought that the Mileena's mosh pit outfit was too much. The thing that each one has their own physical is a nice touch, this way they are not just clones with different colors. I like GG, I don't play this game in ages - I played a lot it's spiritual sucessor, blazblue.

It's extremely hard to concentrate with giant fake tits bouncing everywhere (Mortal Kombat, Soul Calibur, Street Fighter, etc.) but not Tekken, Tekken emphasizes style, the others emphasize sex appeal

in the end, while I'm playing, I don't even pay attention to that - I give more attention during the cutscenes. Yeah, Tekken is more behaved in the overall. I think that Street fighter doesn't emphasizes too much in sex appeal either. But, dead or alive is one that screams fetish everywhere, especially in the dlcs

to be seen, yes, but I like its mechanics, it has unique counters, characters with 3 different weights to make combos work in different ways, terrain advantages and disavantages, a scheme of priorities for the basic attacks, critical hits... is a very elaborated game of 'jo ken po' with combos. My only problem with it is that I spent more time updating that thing due to it absurd amount of clothes DLCs - I have to download a lot of catalogues for things that I'll never buy and what drives me crazy is that I have to downloat it to even play off line ('cause the game blocks all the other options while the download isn't done).

fighting games are my favorite genre of games. So I like the classic 2D fast paced, the 2,5D that are more strategic (like Tekken) and those full 3D (like those wrestler or mma games), and smash bros (that I think has a very unique style)

I rarely play games, when I do it's either co-op or single player, I play PS+ games since they're free, so single player could be Dragon's Dogma en1gma92.deviantart.com/art/Drβ¦ and co-op could be Saints Row 3 en1gma92.deviantart.com/art/Saβ¦

Dragon's Dogma is one game that I want to play - probably I'll get it when appear a nice promotion in the xbox live, or when the price drops. Saints Row 3 I played in PC, and was fun from the beginning till the end.

I've never played it, I just saw some reviews and the battle against big monsters that I thought was interesting - that is one of the few things that lacks in skyrim, I think that is dumb be able to kill a giant with a knife hit in the heel.

I used Tigersan's mod and upped my girl's strength(hand2hand damage) to the point where attacking triggered the proc 1 shot animations, making her slam giants
(though I usually made my own giants using NPC scale to do it... lol)
PS: this thread is gettin pretty long.

I used the muscle mod in skyrim too, but I put it only for the orc and the nord women, and I didn't changed anything else about size and damage. First because even with the normal sized character I'm master to get in places that I can go out. And I didn't changed the base damage, because in the end of the game, with high alchemy, enchantment and weaponsmith my armor and jewels multiplies the damage like 2 or 3 times (or more, I don't remember now), so it is an instant kill in everything.

fair enough on the damage, but unlike the earlier elder scrolls, there is no unarmed/punching skill to work up -- the only way to increase unarmed damage IS to use console codes to change the variable.
Plus, I discovered that if damage is ~100% of target HP it replaces the normal attack with a slow-motion crit animation, in the case of unarmed these are mostly slam-finshers.
Though I like the game overall, the destroyed the stat system they had built through the series. In Oblivion your movement speed, jump height, carrying capacity, punching, et cetera, were all based on trainable skills+stats. I know a lot of designers are shying away from the oldschool idea of character attributes in favor of skill based systems (or, god forbid, gear-based stats -- yeah, BLIZZ, I mean you!). If you ask me this greatly cheapens one of the best parts of Role-Playing ~ seeing your character get stronger/attain REAL power (as opposed to the "borrowed" kind).
Come to think of it, Fable has done the same thing... I love the story of Fable III, hate the changes they made removing the physical stats/upgrades from Fable II.
And, both of those franchises are guilty of the infinite guards to punish disloyal citizens sin. (come on, I've killed more guards than there are people in the whole damned kingdom and they keep coming :/)

well, the unarmed damage will scale with the heavy armor status in skyrim (or the perk just give a fixed value to the base damage, I don't remember now) and there was a gauntlet that could give you more unarmed damage, so, destroying it and enchanting something else, you could do more unarmed damage - but it is true, unarmed damage in that game sucks, and in the end game, magic damage ends sucking a lot too when compared to the physical damage that you can deliver.
In Skyrim I don't know if they did that due to the fact that each NPC has individual stats, because if you put a infinite number of variables, that thing would be a hell Β of calculations to be done by the PC and the game probably would end like a lagging hell.
Well, infinite bandits/vampires against infinite guards - it's kinda balanced.

Dragon's Dogma is like having someone give you a knife and flying you to a jungle and having you accept quests from the people who live there, in every other game it' s like that but you get food/water/tent/watch/blanket/sword

rpgs have almost the same basic base - you have nothing or have all, but lost everything, you are the chosen one to do something, you collect things, kill things, help people in the way and go face the boss.

They get watered down for the wider market. Red has had mixed reaction, some people love her and others hate or are disgusted by the muscle. Some think it is "Muscle Fetish" but that is not so, I want strong characters, not all are as big as Red. My heroine Viper is more lean and not as heavy but still powerful as you can see here.

yep, she looks more the fit type - but this varies with the artist's impression too, 'cause the bokuman's version passes the idea that she is huge too. And about the wider market, I know a lot of girls that doesn't like the bodybuilder type of guy and this is the portrait of 95% of the heroes - as I said, some are ok to be like this, 'cause they relies on physical strenght, but there is a lot of them that are shooters or that uses mystical powers or avoid direct fights as much as they can or whatever, but they all have almost the same size. This doesn't appplies only to the kid/teenager hero type. Once I heard the superhero has the kind of body that not the woman likes, but the one that the men want to have, that's why they are portraited like this.
