Description This guy was making beautiful pottery like things out of copper and making them all different colors by heating them and exposing them to oxygen... this was the fire part.

;;devin.

shhhh i can't give it away!!! lol... nah i just zoomed into what was being burnt... made sure the iso was WAY down... fairly quick exposure, it was in sunlight so i had to compensate for that as well, if you look closely the objects around the fire pit the colors are washed on them slightly because the sunlight was a little bright coming down. aperture to 5.6 (fastest my lens will go at full zoom ) and CLICK I have several other firey shots that i haven't put up but im thinking about doing it now since they're somewhat popular

yea you ain't kidding... i was looking at some of his finished products and they were very beautiful all the gorgeous colors that O2 and CU make is crazy... i work in a scrap yard and i see copper all day long... just never like this. it has to be expensive to do because the copper market is at an all time high these days and those pieces aren't light...

the glaze didnt cost much more than the rest out there. Reds and yellows are spendy but coppers arnt that bad usually. I have some stuff done this way in my gallery also. Some piggy banks and fishing lures. They are bad ass
