10 bucks on Ashen One (since he can't really die,but Talos can...i assume)

Nope, Talos is way more powerful than any "god" of Dark Souls. Mainly because he IS an actual god. Being 10 feet tall doesn´t make you a god.

Fair enough, however how you can kill somebody who can't be killed? Ashen One will return over and over... Both characters are immortal in their own way so it'd be some epic fight to watch, that's for sure ^^

Talos was Dragonborn, meaning he is a dragon, meaning that (like Alduin) he can absorb the Ashen One´s soul. Of course, he may just grab him from his world and throw him in Nirn.

Never is it said that Dragons or Dragonborn can absorb the souls of men. Alduin is indeed the only exception, because he had a portal that led directly to Sovngarde. It would seem that Dragon souls are confined to whatever world they were in when their body was killed, while mortal souls move on to the afterlife, assuming they haven’t been bound with magic or by unfinished business. It may very well be that the Dragonborn May theoretically be capable of devouring mortal souls, but not from Mundus.

Gameplay and Story Segregation.

No, it’s the literal lore of the game. The Dragonborn absorbs the immortal Souls of Dragon’s, which are confined to Mundus and do not go to an afterlife like an inbound mortal soul does. In exchange, Dragons can reincarnate over and over until their soul is absorbed by the Dragonborn. DEVOURING a mortal soul is a whole other matter, and it entails the actual consumption of one’s physical form in the Aetherial or Daedric Realms. If that soul-made-physical form is destroyed, that person seizes to exist completely. If you were to slay a Sovngarde-bound Nord, and then eat his flesh, then perhaps then you could claim his power, but the Dragonborn’s absorption is limited to Dovah souls.

Note: by Daedric Realms I meant the Waters of Oblivion; if a Daedra or Daedric-infused being is killed while reforming, they’re forever destroyed (Umaril the Unfeathered)
