I really could care less what the hell this movie is about. SO if the story sucks ass then I won't be disappointed. On the other hand, if the the story turns out to be good on top of the visual jackpot it's sure to be then that would be even more awesome.

I think it will be good, I sat in on some of the panels at SDCC and it sounded pretty great. Course they're not going to say otherwise.

It turns out that I really liked Sucker Punch. The visuals were INCREDIBLE and the girls kicked ass as action heroes. I really dug the story although it took me two times to completely grasp it. There was a lot more going on than just guns,girls, dragons, nazi zombies, robots, mechs, and orcs. I remember seeing FIGHT CLUB in '99 and loved it. That movie bombed because some people and critics didn't bother looking past the violence and at the actual story behind it. The same thing will probably happen with Sucker Punch. But I really dug it

Cool, I'm happy to hear it, I won't get a chance to see it for a while, shiftworker in a coal mine. I didn't realize Fight Club was considered a bomb, I thought it was huge but maybe yeah, I can see that now. It certainly wasn't marketed very well.
