The logo of Turmion Kätilöt, a Finnish industrial metal band (who are linked up in the description). I like to imagine that Vinyl would be a fan.

Sounds awesome. Definitely a million times better than what she likes in the show imo lol. (As in in the 100th episode lol)

I agree, and I kind of think the fandom is to blame for that. A huge volume of fan works have depicted her as a dubstep fan ever since she first appeared on the show.
I like the idea of Vinyl as a lover of music in general, not just one specific brand. However, after the 100th episode it is kind of hard to deny her association with electronic music. So I think TK is a nice compromise in that respect.
(And I like TK a lot, so it works out for me )

Yeah. I'm fine with electronic music (hell, I make it myself lol) but the dubstep was a bit overboard.
They should do death metal next.

Haha yeah, TK is one of the finest hidden gems I've been lucky enough to stumble upon. Always nice to find other fans, as they are few and far between. :>

Aha, I kinda suspected that would be the case. Makes sense.
Color me jelly, though. As you might expect, it is a very different story here in the southwest US. TK, as well as most of the other weird European metal bands that I listen to, barely exist over here.

The good thing is that I get to see bands like Stam1na, Mokoma, TK & other Finnish metal-bands pretty regularly, but that's about it. There's almost no chance any bands from USA ever comes around here...
Luckily there's at least two great djent-bands coming to Helsinki this fall :3

That's true. Hadn't thought about that but tradeoffs are bound to exist, I'm sure.

Okay, let's get the obvious band out of the way first. (I'm gonna link one song for each band, you give them a listen if ya feel like it and I can link you more if you so desire)
-2 Times Terror . You like TK? Well, this band is the singer's MC Raaka Pee's and his wife's side-project. It's exactly like TK in it's sound with the exception of the language (about half of their songs are in English), the occasional female vocalist and a shitload of cameo-artists. Sadly they have only one album and hardly ever tour (I've seen them twice), but hey, at least you'll easily grasp their whole production.
-Verjnuarmu . Okay, personally I haven't listened a lot of this band but they play industrial metal much like TK (their singer is in fact one of the cameo artists in 2TT:s song Mailman Tuomari x3), but with a twist: They sing entirely in the dialect of Savo. Even I have no clue what they're talking about... >u<
And here's a couple of my personal favorites...
-Stam1na!! My second favorite band ever (after SOAD) and easily the best live band I've ever seen! They play... Trash with a hint of progressive metal I guess? It's hard to explain but it's BLOODY AWESOME!! They literally have zero bad songs, so whatever you decide to listen to, it's bound to be good. I've seen them a total of 7 timed live, last time 6 days ago, and gonna see them the 8th time tomorrow evening~
-Mokoma! Closely following Stam1na in my fav Finnish bands, they also play trash metal-esque music; kinda like fast-paced heavy metal with death metal-screams and growls mixed with suomirock-style of singing. They're also really sociable with fans and a blast to talk to! That said, I've seen them only three times live. :/
These two, along with TK, are no doubt my 3 fav Finnish metal-acts. But all the other bands lkisted are also really good and worth a listen!
-Apina! Probably the newest of the bunch, Apina plays Nu Metal with djent-tinctures and very well written lyrics I personally can identify to a lot. I'm also gonna see them live again tomorrow~
-FM2000! Describing their musical style as "Humppa metal", FM2000 is the closest we will ever get to a Finnish System of a Down. Their music is... Interesting, and their lyrics often talk about... Food. Yeah. This is definitely the weirdest band I've listed here.
-Rytmihäiriö! Self-decribed "surmacore", they play trash metal-esque music with lyrics mostly concerning Satan and Gambiina (a Finnish alcoholic beverage). Oh and they always get fucking wasted during their show and it's very amusing to watch. :'D
(All five above mentioned bands also belong to the same record label, SAKARA. Just wanted to point that out...)
-One Morning Left . The only good Finnish metalcore band I've stumbled upon. They use heavy electronic-influences and their lyrics are often very silly to the point of being outright idiotic. Oh, and the sadly don't sing in Finnish. Although I gotta warn you, if you usually don't like core, I guarantee you won't like this either.
-Lost Society . A really energetic band that plays 80's trash metal better than Metallica today ever could! Although they don't sound that good on disc, they've provieded some of the most insane, hardcore live sets I've ever seen! And to think the guys are barely in their twenties!
-Blind Channel . Arguably the smallest band here, they play "aggressive pop" as they themselves describe it. In common words, it translates to "that sprt of music Linkin Park played in the early 2000's but less Nu metal and more metalcore". Totally love it, eagerly waiting for their debut album!
-Poets of the Fall . Not really sure if this counts as "metal", but they play really good alternative that's well worth the listen! If you've played Max Payne or Alan Wake, you might well have heard their music since they're featured in almost every modern Remedy-game to date!
-Apulanta . I didn't like this band for a long time and I still kinda don't, but their older stuff is really good! Apulanta started as a punk rock band, evolved into a more serious, gritty alternative metal band and ended up as all the other 9000 supposed "heavy" bands you hear on the mainstream radio. But it's iconic status can't really be denied however you look at it.
-Kotiteollisuus . One of the bigger metal bands in the country, yet I haven't listened to it that much. They play... Metal. Or should I say a considerably heavier version of Suomirock. Saw them for the first time live 6 days ago, I too should totally listen to more what they have to offer!
-Viikate . As with Kotiteollisuus, I also saw them for the first time live 6 days ago. They play melancholic rock/metal and the singer has a reeeeeally low voice. They were also the most charming live performers I've seen this summer!
...I don't think I need to mention bands such as Nightwish, Children of Bodom or Apocalyptica since they actually tour the world and everybody bloody knows about them

Sorry for the late response, wanted to get a good listen in on these and I've been busy the last few days.
One thing I will say about these up front is that I'm quite enjoying this recurring theme of adding lots of silliness to their music videos. Anyway -
Solid picks all around, really, the ones by 2 Times Terror (heard of them before, actually!), Verjnuarmu, Stam1na, Lost Society, and FM2000 caught my attention in particular. I'll definitely have to do some digging on these guys in the near future.
Anyway, thanks for the recommendations! Feel free to drop some more if you ever feel like it, I won't complain.

Well since you already listed what specifically you liked, here's some more songs by those bands (at least the ones I think are good):
2 Times Terror:
Equals One Sudden Death (the whole album, it's their only one and
has no bad tracks. My favs are D.E.A.D, Mailman Tuomari and Ikävässä Paikassa)
Stam1na:
Ristiriita (conflict)
Kadonneet Kolme Sanaa (The lost three words) Really old material from when the band was only a trio
Koe Murha! (Experience a murder!)
Koirapoika (Dogboy)
Viisi Laukausta Päähän (Five shots to the head)
Vapaa Maa (Free country)
Kaksi Reittiä, Yksi Suunta (Two routes, one direction)
Muistipalapelit (Memory puzzles)
Lääke (Medicine)
Piste Jolta ei ollut paluuta (the point of no return)
Malla, Merellä, Ilmassa (on land, on sea, in the sky)
Puolikas Ihminen (Half a human)
Nomad Only released song by the band that contains English; in retrorespect it's pretty universally hated by fans : D
Ei Encorea (No encore) I've been rooting for this song being played live as an encore-song since last year! No luck for me unfortunatelly...
Arveton On Arvoton (Scarless is worthless)
Panzerfaust
Kuoliaaksi Ruoskitut Hevoset (horses flogged to death)
Masiina (Machine)
Dynamo Easily the band's most famous song
SLK
Lost Society
Trash All Over You
Braindead Metalhead
Wasted After Midnight
Terror Hungry (acoustic) This is surprisingly good xD
FM2000
Kinukki
Olga
Hyvä Silokki-laulu (a good silokki-song)
Jack
Can't really give you that much from verjnarmu since I don't listen that much myself to the band. Sorry! But I bet you can find something good by yourself as well.
