While I've made peace with the fact that Duke is dead, I believe that Bombshell over here is the video game hero I've been looking for.

Thank you super kindly! I wasn't sure necessarily if I could do it justice when the whole Ion Maiden game in itself is a bit of a tribute to shooters of the era. I'm glad you like it! I can't wait to see the game in it's full glory if the first demo campaign hooked me like it did!
My only regret is that Duke didn't seem to go out on a good note at any level, but hey, we still have the good games!

I think you've done justice by Shelly and by this game. She's actually one of the coolest video game protagonists I've seen in a while. And the new use of the Build engine by the developers really shows how much mileage you can get out of a twenty year old engine. It's the same reason people still play Mario 64 and the first Halflife.
i think this is a good way to capture the spirit of the game, and your artwork captures the spirit of that
