Ive seen several pieces similar to this style. May I ask what software and pen tool used for this is? I have Photoshop CS5, am I capable of doing this too? Are you able to set the "thick thin" style of lines automatically?

I think his lines might just be a really good match for how you ink. That's one of the things about us follow-on artists (y'know, inkers & colourists). Every now & then you'll find you're working with someone's lines and it all just seems to click with the way you do things. You can not only manage to make their lines look good, but doing so shows off your own work better too. It's a special moment! ^_^
