I am shocked and helpless! Black ECLIPSE shall start in may!What shall I do? Stay or go? I am so dispirited and unmotiveted now.
And I have had so many ideas and further plans!

I just checked out the new format and I DO NOT LIKE IT AT ALL!! It's a big ole' mess. It's confusing. It takes away each member's personality. It's bland as hell. It looks like a 20 year old format, NOT a modern one. Looking at it makes me want to take a pencil and stab myself in the eye.
I worked very hard putting my profile together and now it looks like I am going to have to start all over-I don't have time for that and I shouldn't be forced to.
I would leave DA, but I won't because I have too many friends here, but I will probably be a bitch for awhile until I can get the hang of it and fix my profile back. We should have a choice between the old one and
Stop Eclipse - Sound of Silence MovementAs you must all know by now, we are being forced to take Eclipse on May 20th 2020. I dislike Eclipse for more reasons that I can name, even with my new fast laptop. If this goes through I am warning my watchers that I do not plan to delete my account, but I am putting most of my work in a storage (to protect it from being stolen) and will probably not be around much anymore. However, there is one last ditch effort to get DA's attention. If you dislike Eclipse as much as I do, I encourage you to send them a message!

ETA: The petition has well over 8500 signatures in one day. It may not do a thing but it certainly won't hurt. Other websites have dropped changes or allowed the old site to exist with the new because of user outrage.
The movement is to NOT LOG INTO DA from MAY 1st - MAY 3rd. LET DA KNOW

Bleiben und lernen, damit umzugehen. Ich komme auch noch nicht gut zurecht, einiges geht leider gar nicht mehr, vielleicht bin ich auch nur zu blöd.

Den schwarzen Hintergrund finde ich gar nicht so schlimm, sondern mehr das Händling! Hab aber auch immer sehr schnell aufgegeben! Und die angebotenen Tutorials versteh ich meist nicht recht. Falsche Sprache und zu viel Fach-Chinesisch! Learning by doing, wird aber wohl mühsam werden und ich werde viele liebe Gewohnheiten abhaken müssen.

Ich habe schon einiges bei den FAQ gefunden, aber ich brauche auch noch viel Zeit zum Lernen. Deshalb bin ich mit meinen Nachrichten auch arg im Rückstand.

I am with you and your feelings, Wolfgang,... dispirited as well, with the impending Eclipse. No choice though but to (try) and deal with it; (try) and like it. Although, I doubt I'll be able to support other artists as I've been doing; it just takes too long, double the clicks and efforts, and I just watch too many people. The thing is, I love faving, commenting, and collecting art. But DA, with Eclipse, is making it just so hard to do. ( I mean, why take away drag and drop faving?? What are they Thinking?!!

I'll be sad to see so many go and I may well join you. I'm not sure what DA is thinking with this change--I find the new DA EXTREMELY hard to navigate and since I have the attention span of a gnat I'll probably just not deal with it.
