This is serious.One of my best friends (male!) has been raped several times and it still is going on.
The law isn't on his side and doesn't believe him – instead they accused him of libel and dragged him to court. His mind is totally fucked up – he can't escape the rapers but can't espect the help of justice.
Further, many of my friends got raped or have been abused in any way. It is so sad to see how they are doomed to live with those memories and the consequences of it.
Murderers are in jail for a lifetime cause they killed a person.
Rapists are in jail for some years (if the victims are lucky!) cause they abused someone.
This is so not fair.
Rapists kill people, too. Mentally. Not physically.
What's wrong with this world?
Please, if you suspect that someone in your surroundings could has been raped – do not hesitate! HELP!

I don't understand why rapists aren't persecuted in the same manner as those who torture other people, because that's what rape is--sexual torture.

I don't understand it either, but in most laws (as far as I know) rape is not that much punished. In some countries, rape is even justified by culture and stuff ..... wtf?! Maybe politicians should make up their minds. Soon.

Yeah. It's not even really persecuted on college campuses. Most of the time, the rapist just has to apologize, maybe have his wrists slapped, but that's it.

Mh, I think it's difficult to compare rapists who kill their victims and rapists who don't. But one thing I must clearly outpoint: Rape is ALWAYS violent. Cause it's just about might and power, not only about "making love".
I don't say "rape is worse than murder", but I think, rape could be kinda "equal" to murder. Not exactly, but nowadays it's still taken too lightly. In worst case, rape kills the victims inside so that a normal life isn't possible anymore.

As a man I'm sick of people thinking men can't be raped, this is what I have to say if the law wan't help then take the law into your own hands and bring thoes raping cunts to justice, also YHWH(God) that if someone rapes or kill they are to be pot to death, if someone I know was raped and te law wan't help them than I'll take the law into my own hands and bring that cunt how did it to justice, somethime you must be the law so that justice can be done.

I know friend, sometimes the law is just crap, that don't help persons in need, just because of the fucking lack of evidence, "hey is perons who are suffering can you help out?"

Indeed it's because those who make the laws think they don't have to live by them, it's sick really.
That's why sometimes you HAVE to take the law into your own heads for justice to be done.
We are the people; we hold the real power, so we are intidold to laws that are fair to everyone no matter who they are.

Not to go all religious or anything; one thing I learned is that none gets away with doing bad because when they die they go befor God (may praise be upon him) and his divine counil (may praise be upon him) and will be punished for their evils.
Even if there is no justice in this world there is in the next.
But as long as weér on this world it is up to us the people to make it better for everyone.
If I see someone who rapeed, or killed someone else and they didn't get punished for it I would punish them myself because sometimes you have to be the law for justice to be done.

To me, rape is probably the worst thing you can ever do to a human (I haven't been raped personally, but just the thought of it is disgusting and horrible) and I definitely think it's something our society must do something about, even if it's just spreading the word and knowledge about it.

Unfortunately it is so inprinted in our culture and, especially, by the media. We are tought from a very early age that women are supposed to be submissive, weak and only there to please men, and men are tought to be tough, strong and violent (mostly subconcious, of course), and thus of course, violence happens.
It doesn't help that we live in a society that teaches women "not to be raped" rather than men "not to rape".

I completely agree. I was fed that garbage as a child, it made me sick even then. Women aren't submissive, weak or anything. Men need to learn that it's never ok to force or coerce a woman into bed.
