Description
  • Kingdom: Eucaryota
  • Phylum: Punctator
  • Class: Linguacea
  • Order: Razortongues
  • Genus: Lingus
  • Species: Lingus carnifex

The Razortongues were the first predators to roam the world of Teratelus. Unlike traditional predators with sharp teeth or claws, they had a unique adaptation - a long, sharp tongue that they used to tear apart their prey into swallowable pieces. Their primitive eyesight was poor, but it was a start - the first of its kind on the planet. Despite their seemingly harmless appearance, their predatory nature led to the extinction of 30% of the planet's squishy creatures. The Razortongues persisted from the very late pre-expectatiarion all the way into the late expectatiarion era.
