Yeah, bro's at his girlfriend, the computer is all mine!
Krhm. So here's some doodles about the main (idiot) character Christoff. Coloured pencils, ink and markers.
Clockwise:
Once again, a b/w sketch. Believe or not, after WW2 Christoff became a teacher. Probably he's thinking (respect!) about tests or essay or most likely how to write something in english. And yes, he's left-handed.
He got married in summer 1946 with his childhood friend, and what he's watching...probably his best friend René is having good time with his big sister.
Someone just woke up. He got those scars when his friends were forced to kill him, but he survived from it only because they were interrupted.
Christoff around 40, still a teacher and an idiot. He got his scar to his throat when he was almost killed by his former superior.
Happy little Christoff is happy, as usual. He lived in countryside. He had a pony, what his father brought from WW1.
Christoff standing on his head. Why? Because he can, that's why.

Why do you think Christoff is an idiot? Is it because of he holds his hat on a boot? I find that pose very original.

Nope, because he really IS. He's not like all the other main characters who know and can do enything. Christoff can't even speak english well, and his british friend saves his ass when it's in danger.
Because their superior ordered to.

I think that main characters who can do everything are annoying, so knowing that Christoff is a little clumsy makes him interesting... it would be fun seeing what kind of problems he causes/ends up in and how he solves them!

I think so too, they are too perfect. Yup, he's clumsy, he's dumass and idiot, so far from a handsome and perfect main chara. You will see when I start my comic.

Doing comics is a good challange, you might draw things you never tought of and learn a lot, not only about drawing, nut also about story telling!

When I was a kid, I invented stories all the time, without caring for plot holes, the reasons behind a character's acts or way of thinking... then, I became an adult and started thinking "logical".
So I wanted all things to have a logical explanation... and this killed the flowing of creativity.
But when I am inspired, I "turn off" my logical side and I can finally draw/write what I feel, without thinking about all those rational, boring, things
