Well, it was 's birthday yesterday. But I was busy. So I drew her up something and spent most of Saturday doing this. I'm also ignoring a project for college right now. I always do this.

This is her character, Rinaku Huyai. One of her first characters I ever met, aside from Iaeruki (poor guy). So, why not draw the guy?

A little backstory on Rinaku: he's some sort of race of hers, obviously, and he can transform into this silver werewolf type thing...that stands on its feet. I dunno. He doesn't like this because he goes a little feral and can destroy stuff. But he will if need be, or distressed, or angry. (oh just visit the link for his bio [link] )

I cannot imagine this process being anything short of painful. His body shifts, and he grows a foot in height (plus this is Kai-chan we're dealing with). So...he's supposed to look like he's screaming in agony as he shifts.

Without a good reference of the two necklaces he wears, that was fun times. Actually, the only image I could find of him was a back chibi shot. That too was fun times. Oh, I also realize I cut his hair short. I apologize, Kai-chan.

I just remembered what I was going to do for her birthday this year. Because she's 21 today, I was going to do more with a "fuzzed" Dai. But I forgot and drew this instead.

Next year, I swear, I'm going to do something fun for her.
