After listening to a variety of deviants, and getting some great insite, I relooked the design, and worked awhile on the right side.Just a quick explanation...
I really wanted to portray a grungy, ghost like feel to the design. I was going for a cluttered, keep your eye moving type design, I think that for the most part it acomplishes just that.
Web wise, the site turns over very well. The left side, when put into a browser, leaves plenty of room for daily tutorials etc..
The main down point, imo, is the large expanse of blackness at the top. That can very easily be done away with.
As a second draft, I think the layout's came a long way..
I would REALLY love to hear comments. This is the only place I can get any comments what so ever. So critisism is exactly what I want.

the black part could easly become interesting by adding a face to the middle, one of those faces that seem to come out of nowhere and keep going against tthe latex, u know what i mean?

Looks better this time around. Yeah, black should be gotten rid of. Easily done, yes.
No other complaints. Love the design.

/me agrees with Ekud on this one. Fill the top black area with some grungy details. I really like this though, it should be pretty cool upon completion. Keep up the good work man

I like it looks really good.
some things you might like to try though;
put more of that thick grey jagged styling along the top to reduce the whitespace up there.. I could be wrong about that.. not sure what it looks like in a browser window.
Add a single element that takes the majority of the focus that'll make the funky stuff you've got already more subtle

hmm.. i agree about the black being the downpoint of the image, but the thing which lets it down the most in my opinion is that it doesnt have a clearly defined focal point.. its very very sparse, it could almost pass as a screenshot!
it is an interesting design, but theres WAY too much spare space, and no focal point.. needs some work, but a good start here!
