`DigitalPhenom just a quick question..

what program/programs do you use to make these log on screens??

I'm trying to make the transparent box - i think its 114 or 115.bmp file in the logonui.exe that im trying to make transparent in logonstudio

but it seems the only way i can emulate the transparent box is to do a copy and paste job with the pattern or image thats in the background image file.

hope you can help out this noob
thanks

I'm new to the whole log on screen thing.
People have told me to download logon studio, which i did, and it didn't help.
how do i put this on my computer?

yeah..you have to have logon studio on your pc....you just run logonstudio and then download your skins...if you save the skin to your desktop just click it and it will open in logon studio....then just click apply. youll be able to see the default skins that come with it plus the ones you download in the list on the left.

LogonStudio [link]

I already have log on studio.. but when I open your document from the compressed folder, its just images and codes. None are in the same format as LogonStudio. I'm sorry I just have no idea what I'm doing

Well..its not a compressed folder that your downloading..you downloading a logonstudio file...all you have to do is click it. if it happens to ask you what program to open it with, browse your program files until you find logon studio and then click it. the best way to do is when you click download here and the pop up comes up asking what you want to do...save to disk or open with "logonstudio" click on open with. then you dont have to do anything..it will go right in there.

hi...its easy...go here [link] and download the LogonXP ...its free from stardock. Then just download the file and click it and it will install. You can test it by clicking apply when the program pops up or the next time you reboot you will see it.
