Aleana again. I'm not used to drawing her so BIG. It took much longer to shade in those stupid stripes than I anticipated.Related content

Ah, I sympathize with you and the shading in the stripes... D:. My final involved similar tasks.
Now onto the work itself.
This is really nice. The design is very unique, I feel like I could find Aleana in actuality. The stripes are almost of a phantasmal quality, because of how they sort of "weave". And my most favorite part of all is the shaaaaaading. It's so gorgeous.

-grins- thanks, Cortzan. Did you post your final? Actually, I haven't seen you post drawings at all, have I? Hmmm... XD Also, I took the easy way out. Fins don't take much shading, and shading for tails is easier than for legs. Much easier.

My final's too big to scan, sadly. If I get a good camera really soon, I'll snap a picture of it.
...Really? that's helpful information, as something that I'm doing now requires shading for a tail.

Well, yeah, tails are much simpler. They don't have muscle bulges that have to be shaded, and they're a fairly simple shape. Of course, there's always the texture of the skin or fur to worry about....
