3 years ago (December 6th 2013) a cute little Akita Inu puppy, a fluffy ball of adorableness was born. It was you, my dear Megumi. All you wanted was love and even more someone you can give all the deep love in your heart. But instead you've been abandoned by your "breeder" (more a producer, because a breeder is a good human) because you were born with a belly break. You were seperated from your mummy way too early and given to a bad person that put you in a dark barn and abused you. When your belly break needed to be operated that person didn't want to pay for it and put you into the kill shelter. Luckily some nice neighbours rescued you and brought you to Germany. This is where our story begun. I found you online by accident and you had the name of my deceased and loved Shiba Inu and you were born the day she was diagnosed with cancer. The first time you saw me, you were scared of me because you feard all humans and many, many other things.

But this is past. When I look at you now I see beautiful eyes full of trust and loyalty. You are a happy, lovable girl that doesn't need more then those she loves. You're happy when you can run free and accompany on our long walks in nature, you're happy when you can explore new things, you're happy when you rest by my side, you're happy to be caressed by those you love, you're happy to play with your best friend Voitto (my loved other dog) or to just spend time sitting next to him or me and to enjoy the beauty of the moment. There's so much love in your heart that you give us every second, you're so careful and know what someone feels. If someone gets hurt, you're there and want to help, you want to protect those you love even you're scared yourself. You value me more then your own life. There are no words to describe your loyalty.

You are so incredible cute and your personality is one of a kind. Sure, you're still scared of humans, that's just understandable. But you came so far. You trust me deeply and you already trust the world most of the time you even trust strange humans as long as they pass you otherwise you still get unsure. But you should be proud of yourself how far you have come and together we will master all problems, you trust me and I trust you, you help me and I help you. And one day you'll maybe see that most people are nice and kind and instead of being scared you'll be able to show them what a sweet girl you are and will enjoy to be pet. But don't rush yourself, you have all the time in the world and as long as you're happy, everyone is.

Just promise me to stay who you are. You don't know how much you make us happy. The way you smile (she's a dog but she can smile as you can see in some of the pics) to express your joy, how you want to do everything right just so everyone's happy. And your adorable voice when you talk on command or just to let me know that you found something (she doesn't eat from the ground but with "talking" she lets me know). And I always wanted to let you know how deeply proud I am of you when there's a hare or deer running and I call you and you stop, think about what to do for a second and then decide to run to me with a smile in your face.

You are the best. You are sweetest and I will allways love you, my dear Megumi! Forever and beyond
