Description
That is my first public release of my XP taskbar replacement that adds some features from Windows 7 back to XP
It is work only with Firefox 3.0 and above (2.0 is not supported) also NET Framework 3.5 SP1 is required!
Also to work perfectly you need XP skin with large taskbar button support
(On XP NO live previwes only on VISTA on XP is only static previews)
New version (1.061) is available!
This a bug-fix release!
1. {fixed} When Open option dialog on Vista exception is shown
2. {fixed} When manual reposition SBar ShowDesktop button go to wrong position
3. {fixed} Sometimes when hover button or when start application Button image do not refresh
4. Other fixes

For now Know bugs are:
- On some machines there a crash with unhandled exception (when use transformation packs or modified system files)
- When Taskbar is set to Autohide there is a problem with initial positioning of SBar
- some windows are missing if you start SBar after that windows are showed
IMPORTANT! Due to the database change All user settings will be overridden! for users that have troubles or database exceptions please unrar SBarDB.rar into the user local application data folder and then run SBar!
NOTE: Some people has reported that after install new version of Sbar the taskbar buttons dissapear! Well i wrote in many post how to fix that but seems some people not read that so i post here the solution.
If you have above problem do this:
1. Go to Options dialog
2. Hit "Reset" button
3. Hit "Apply" and "OK" button
and buttons should show!
Note2: If you use somekind of transformation packs or any kind of custom system files modifications its possible to have unexpected crashes or unhadled exceptions since SBar is designed to work WITH FACTORY windows!

2. {[new]}Added partial support for Windows Media Player
3. {[fixed]}Pin items from recent list for Firefox not working

IMPORTANT!!! If you upgrade from release older that 1.050 then Before start Sbar after install new (1.060) version First start SBarUpdareDB.exe (attached to SBar 1.050 download page) and hit Update button!!!!!

IMPORTANT! From here [link] you have to download SBar Database Update and run it and hit on button "Update" before to run sbar! You have to do that only one time!

DimitarCC, I'm happy to announc that I am no longer getting the bug when SBar doesn't detect new windows for pinned application. I'm not sure why, but it just started registering them. I hope you can figure out how to stabilize the feature in the next build. Thanks :0

Strangely, the SBar taskbar button overlay problem started to appear again after I restarted my computer. I'm not sure what the problem is. At any rate, best of luck in the further development of your program.

Thank you! The new version works very well. However, I'm getting these two bugs:
The taskbar is still on top when playing full screen YouTube videos, and while running full screen apps.
Sometimes, when I hover over the taskbar and leave quickly, the buttons will still look like they've been hovered. Thanks. Otherwise wonderful job.

Still not working for me. After clicking the update button a message appears: This not a win32 file. Than comes a empty little window with caption "Form1" and than at the start of SBar the computer crashes conmplete.

I got that problem too. A message appears: This not a win32 file. But when comes the caption "Form1" appear the update button and then click on Sbar, worked fine
Try again to see what happen.

Tried it as you told me. First everything seems good. Message :Update successful. SBarsysicon appears. And nothing ele. Cannot reach optionsmenu,sysrayicons are not more responding. I give up and use 1.040. Maybe next version will fix this.Anyway thanks for the tip.

Well drop zone is only limited to taskbar button line!
It means above taskbar buttons and below them there will not be a drop zone!
I and sizing the drop zone by size and location of original taskbar (for now) Maybe later i will figure out how to extend it!
And for now SBar is limited ONLy to one line of buttons! If you resize the taskbar(make it 2 or more lines) Sbar will not change to 2 or more lines!

Same problem as bogas04. Sbar totally freezes my Pc. So i recommend not to try this with SBar in Autostart. After each reboot i ran in this problem again.Seems this version is potentially dangerous for some Pcs. Returned to previous version which works great for me.

another issue I had: the icons were too low on the screen (lower part of the icons outside screen). When I raised the Y-position i fixed that but the little widget on the far right is out of alignment.

Is the problem because of the non-english version? Cause I tried it out and everytime I use firefox (3.5) I get an error message and have to close sbar. IΒ΄m on a swedish XH Home SP3. Tried reinstalling .NET 3.5 but nothing changed. ItΒ΄s a real bummer since the functionality of the program is just what IΒ΄m after (tried W7 and only liked the superbar...)
