I want to stop doing this so I can have long nails and smooth skin, but its too late for me.

I have dermatophagia and pica as a result of PDD-NOS and Obsessive Compulsive. I bite off and eat pieces of my tongue, fingers, inner cheeks, and toes. I also eat literally everything my body produces except piss and shit. This includes blood (yes, even the monthly blood) and snot. Also toilet paper, dog biscuits, bars of soap, and lip gloss/chapstick.
I hate my condition, but at the same time I like it because eating these things comforts me.

Been biting since i was about 8,i'm 21 now and just today found out it had and name and was realated to OCD today.I stopped for abot 6 months a year ago but i slowly started back up and now its normal for me again.I dont fixate around my nails as much as i do the whole underside of my fingers except my pinky.Love the stamp,it's so nice to see other people understand,of course i don't like that other people have it but lol it is in a way comforting becuase so few people understand and it's so embarassing to explian,i think when i get most embarassed about it is when i get change back from buying things,i always feel like they might be afriad to touch my hand or somthing.I avoid swimming too becuase when my finger absorb the water,all if the peeling parts and "holey" areas stand out SO bad,anyway thank you for making this,makes me look at it a little differently.
