Got inspired to make this mermen after watching "The Shape of Water" movie. it's a great movie and great story too. No wonder it won many oscar awards!! now let's see if this movie really connected with Hellboy cause the fishmen really looks like abe sapienanyway hope you like it ^^

The fish men are even played by the same actor, Doug Jones. I would be dying to see how Red reacts to the fact that Doug (what I call the fish man from "Shape of Water") chomped a cat's head off when he was really hungry. Abe would have a hard time explaining that away.

really? i didn't know that it played by the same actor. in my opinion the fish man in "shape of water" movie just like a caveman and not much evolved like abe. I really hope a sequel or they will connect the movie with hellboy xD

I didn't see him as a caveman so much as a creature forcibly taken from his own and forced under a microscope with punitive (often painful) action. Universal kindness is what was needed to bring the true (fish) man out of him. The movie doesn't need a sequel in my opinion, but there does need to be further continuation of Hellboy's adventures.

Hmm... an alien fish man is a definite possibility, even though I saw him as a rare and incomparable creature of Earthly origin. A novel or a guidebook on the creature would be a wonderful thing.
