Description
I'm still doing a RP with based on her Wreck-It Ralph fanfiction universe, which so far has been extremely fun. Set in the same world as the Wreck-It Ralph movie by Disney, this RP is set inside a console instead of an Arcade. The story involves copies of the same Wreck-It Ralph from Litwak's Arcade seen in the movie, but they have been accidentally copied by an Arcade unit, sent to an online server, and then downloaded onto someone's home Wii-U system, where they are mistaken for custom created characters in a fictitious Fantasy RPG called "Dragon's Song Online" and added to the team's party. In addition to character's from the arcade, character's from other games on the Wii-U get mistaken for belonging there and made into game characters as well. This is Alice, from Disney's Alice in Wonderland, as well as the Kingdom Hearts series. Alice is part of a latter batch of Followers that is downloaded from other systems, found when Rapunzel and others go looking for other friends. Alice is from another player's Playstation 3 and comes from Kingdom Hearts HD I.5 ReMIX. She entered that versions Dragon's Song and was uploaded to the server after being mistaken for a Follower and eventually was downloaded onto the Gamer's Wii-U. Like Vanellope, Alice is aged up into a an older teenager to fit the minimum age that Followers can appear as.
As a Follower, she becomes a fighter, utilizing skills with swords to represent her skill with the Vorpal Blade from the live action remake of her movie.
I drew her here in 3 different outfits, the first based on her outfit from Kingdom Hearts , another more revealing adventuring outfit and lastly in a bikini.
I made this picture from a base made by found here Alice Base 02 and here Marina Base

Her adventuring outfit has a very 80's workout feel to it, and I kind of love it for that. On a side note, if you want to edit her to make her look older you can always frankendoll between my bases and take Alice's face and hair and put it on the body of another character. I recommend Marina Base or Annie Hughes Base because they have similar body types/proportions to Alice.

Hah, yeah, I guess, it kind of looks like a workout leotard with the belt on the middle along with socks and shoes.
Thanks, I'm glad you were understanding of my predicament and are thinking of solutions, I will look into those bases and try to see what I can come up with while still keeping her outfit looking more or less the same.
I honestly don't see so much wrong with it, but I can see were the criticism is coming from, and it's probably better just to change it to avoid these problems in the future. I'll see what I can do editing her then. It also fits the idea that she is indeed supposed to be older, and editing it to make her actually look older would reflect that better, like what I did with Vanellope and Aryll.
Thanks for the fave too.

I don't see too much of a problem with it either, considering it is kind of what tweens are wearing these days, but if you want her to look older like she's supposed to instead of the same as she does when young, then frankendolling is probably the way to go

Yeah, well, it's both just to put to rest any issues and because I did always intend for her to be older, and just didn't carry that out very well with this depiction, she does look young.

I, uh... don't feel comfortable about this since... this Alice, is... a minor.
I apologize, but... I personally, don't find it appealing.
Dinalfos5 In reply to Scattered-Flames [2016-02-16 05:33:42 +0000 UTC]
Well, she's supposed to be video game character set in the world of Wreck-It Ralph, and as I said, is 'adapted' into a videogame character. As such, she's meant to be older, as the game itself has a minimum age look to it's characters, and she's supposed to be an older teen. However, I didn't go about altering her look that much, so I can understand that that's not clear, and is a mistake on my part.
I do understand that her bikini is not the most appropriate for someone her real age, though it is quite common on teenagers these days, which is closer to the age she's supposed to be represented as in this RP. Her middle outfit is no worse than a one piece swimsuit, which is hardly inappropriate as is. However, that's if it was a swimsuit, and as an adventuring outfit, it is perhaps not the most appropriate.
I'm sorry that this made you uncomfortable and I thank you for bringing it up in a civilized manner and not being rude about it.
If you are still uncomfortable with it or think it's still confusing, I could alter the picture to make her look like the age she is supposed to represent or make her look like the age she is supposed to br instead of using the base virtually unaltered from her normal age, possibly replacing this base with another.

okay okay, I'm just saying...
And, thank you for understanding; I have been a fan of Alice in Wonderland since I was young, and... thankfully, it's not the worse I have come across but yeah- an older appearance for her would have been better, especially with more child molesters coming around now-a-days. ^ ^;
Again, I apologize but... yeah.

Alright, sorry for the delayed reply. Yeah, it isn't the worst that's out there, but I can kind of understand your point.
Well, it should put this problem to rest, but I went and remade Alice as a teenager, mainly since it's something I intended to do in the first place, like I did with other characters like Vanellope, but then neglected to alter when I used the base. Hopefully this will avoid any problems you have it. It's not like he isn't a teenager in the live action movies anyway.

Well, fair enough. Honestly, my main reason was that it was my original intent, they are supposed to be Teenagers in this RP story, and that's not how they ended up looking. That was my main reason for the change.
Honestly though, beyond the middle outfit based on the situation on when it was worn, I don't it would have been inappropriate otherwise. I honestly believe that just because she was young, it doesn't mean she couldn't have been drawn wearing a swimsuit, even a two piece. Perhaps I could have altered the top to be a little more modest, but I don't think it was that inappropriate. Sorry if It made you uncomfortable, but that alone would not have made me change the image. Sorry if I have offended you again, but that is my stance and I don't think I'm wrong for thinking so.
But the point is moot, regardless of reasons, the image is changed in what should now be less offensive.

Thank you, And thanks for the fave too. But can you please start saying something else, adding some more variety to your comments than the same one word over and over and over again? It's starting to become stale, hollow and meaningless, almost insulting at this point. Learn some new vocabulary man! I've blocked people for spamming me the same one word comments over and over and over, not listening when I've asked them to do otherwise.

Just think about what I said and try to say something different about each picture when you leave a comment, at least when leaving more than one in a single day. At least not the same word 6 or more time in a row.
