Interesting , I really like the lighting and the tones of the rose I love how that happens when you change the color temperature in the camera 
I'm not so sure about the DOF but I think it helps to enhance that "opressing feeling" of the picture, you did a lovely job here

Great theme on this one and you've done an excellent job with the wire. However, I find the whole pic rather depressing, there's something weird about it, perhaps the dark lighting and colours. Gives me a "funeral" feeling that makes me uneasy. Not that there's anything wrong with a pic that makes someone feel this way, after all, I'm no stranger to dark art. You know I'm a keen fan of your work so I know you wont take my comments the wrong way, but I cant honestly say I like this pic, however I definately do appreciate the artistry involved in creating it.
