Description
Rodan has been changed to look slightly like a Pteranodon/Wyvern hybrid and it has a bio that puts him Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla and in Godzilla vs. Destoroyah to take part in all of Godzilla Junior’s battles when he grows up.

Rodan-“Let’s conquer the skies”

Personality:Rodan is a solitary kaiju (until they find mates), as he doesn't seem to share any bond with other kaiju, but takes a brother role for Godzilla III in his youth and adulthood, apparently being able to bond.

Story:
Rodan

A mutated Pteranodon, Rodan emerged from a coal mine, where it began to feed on giant arthropods called the Meganulons. Once it had fed, Rodan soared into the sky. Flying the air at supersonic speeds, it proceeded to soar the globe. The beast eventually returned to Japan.

Suddenly, the second Rodan appears and JSDF scramble to meet the threat. Their first attacks fail to defeat either menace. One monster lands in an urban area, where the JSDF unleash its full arsenal to no avail. The two titans leave to Mt. Aso. So a desperate plan of action is soon concocted: a controlled eruption. The JSDF deploy Missile Launchers which pound the volcanic mountain and cause an eruption. The molten rock sets the monsters ablaze.

Rodan II

Eventually a child of the Rodans from 1956 emerges from the volcano eight years later and battles the recently awoken Godzilla, across Japan in a series of stand still fights. The pair is interrupted by Mothra, who halts the two from fighting temporarily. The small larva desperately tries to convince the two to focus on a more dangerous foe: King Ghidorah. Mothra's plea falls on deaf ears, Mothra leaves as both Rodan and Godzilla continue their fight.

Having failed on her mission, Mothra leaves the two monsters and sets to battle with the Ghidorah alone. However, both Rodan and Godzilla had a change of heart, arrive to aid the small Larva. Together, the three kaiju claimed victory over the space monster, who is sent back into space.

Almost thirty year later, on the peaceful Adonoa Island in the Bering Sea, radioactive waste dumps took place. Nobody care if island's life slowly died out. In 1993 Rodan had found a good home. Then, a group of people came to investigate the island and an egg. The group moved the egg back to their camp for further study. By night fall, Rodan terrorized the camp, only resting to watch the humans flee and the unborn had called out to Rodan and, unknowingly, the only other member of its species.

Godzilla emerged from cold waters as Rodan flew into the air. Godzilla and Rodan discussed while the humans loaded the egg into a high-tech ship and began to escape. Rodan tried his best to retreat it, but the ship’s weapons prove too strong for him. Rodan fell to the ground as Godzilla left, following the promise of one of his own.

Meanwhile, in Adona Island, Rodan was knocked out on the beach and, due to radiation exposure from the nuclear deposits, transforms into Fire Rodan and the newly charged pterosaur flew into the sea, focusing on reaching his brother. Rodan discovered the ship that was transporting the egg, and quickly destroys it and tries to carry the egg to safety.

SMG-II soon arrived, and Rodan turned its attention to this new foe. Rodan fired his Atomic Fire blast and SMG-II countered with Mega Buster. The heat beam crashed into the SMG-II, and attacked with its plasma grenade. It appeared as though Fire Rodan was down. SMG-II then found itself in battle with Godzilla and gained the upper hand when it seriously ruptured Godzilla's chest, and Baby Godzilla quickly became distraught. Rodan listened and regained consciousness. It didn't travel very far when he was shot down by SMG-II’s Mega Buster.

In a last effort to save Baby, Rodan decided to assist Godzilla. It landed on the paralyzed reptile and gave up most of his energy to revive and enhance Godzilla. Rodan returned to his normal self and passed out. Having won Godzilla located Baby Godzilla and adopted the creature as his own. Godzilla and Baby Godzilla returned to a new home on Birth Island along with Rodan, where, they would enjoy a temporary peace.

Time passes as the once infant Godzilla now begins to grow. The growing child plays with carefree feelings, always under the watchful eye of his brother Rodan, until the arrival of the sinister SpaceGodzilla.

SpaceGodzilla attacked without remorse the crying creature, showering cosmic fires on the ground. Hope did not return to Little Godzilla until Godzilla and Rodan showed up. The aggressive parent and brother fought, but were soon overpowered, leaving Little Godzilla to feel the wrath of SpaceGodzilla. Though, SpaceGodzilla did not kill Little Godzilla, but instead entrapped him in a crystal prison, before taking off.

It took the death of the SpaceGodzilla, at the combined might of Godzilla and Moguera to shatter the tomb. Free, Little Godzilla to roam free again and returned to the island to meet his injured brother happy to see him alive.

A year after, something was wrong with Godzilla. Either from the overwhelming power of Rodan's life-force or exposition SpaceGodzilla energy, Godzilla was sent into a nuclear meltdown.

Coincidentally, Tokyo was under siege by a monster called Destoroyah. The psychic Miki Saegusa was convinced into using her powers to lead Junior to Tokyo, luring Godzilla to Destoroyah. As obvious Rodan followed Junior and both were able to subdue Destoroyah’s Aggregate and Flying Form. When Godzilla arrived, the heat of his meltdown was too much for Rodan. But as Rodan faded away in the distance Destoroyah’s emerged and engaged Godzilla Junior killing him. When Rodan returned Godzilla had defeated Destoroyah and gone into melt down. Godzilla’s energy had revived his son. The energy brought life back into Junior as he mutated into a full-grown Godzilla. Still recognizing his brother, both of them returned to sea.

In the year 2001 Godzilla stepped into a war with the queen of the Meganula: Megaguirus. The gigantic insect toyed with the Godzilla, using its unbelievable speed and quick strikes. Rodan engaged and tackled Megaguirus. Megaguirus slashed Rodan in the wing. Rodan could no longer fly and this enraged Godzilla angrily and he picked Megaguirus up and trashed her, snapping about the dagger tail of Megaguirus and it was not long before Godzilla incinerated the bug.

In 2010 Rodan assault New York City, and he easily annihilated everything in its path with its sonic booms. The Earth Defense Force was quick to respond to the threat, and soon released their aerial war-machine, The Rumbling, to battle Rodan. When the Rumbling was about to meet its end, Rodan disappeared. The Xiliens wanted the Earth to believe that they had saved the world in truth they were seeking to dominate the planet. When this plan was uncovered, Rodan was set loose again on New York City.

When Godzilla was summoned by the humans, Rodan, Anguirus, and King Caesar were sent to attack him at Mt. Fuji. Godzilla slammed his tail into Anguirus, sending the spiked reptile into the sky and collided with Rodan and was knocked unconscious on impact. Its allies, Anguirus and King Caesar, also felt the force of Godzilla’s wrath, as they were rendered unconscious. Godzilla let out a roar of triumph, as he continued his long voyage toward Tokyo.

In the year 2020, Rodan is found peacefully living with his fellow Earth monsters on Monster Island. Eventually, another terrible alien race, the Kilaakian, took control of the island and all of its inhabitants. Rodan was the first to attack and renders Moscow a ruined city. Some time after, Rodan joined forces with Godzilla and Mothra in the annihilation of Tokyo. Luckily, humankind become wise of the Kilaakian’s secrets and effectively severed the mind control. Rodan and an army of monster joined in Mt. Fuji were fight against Mogu and Monster X, that later transform into Keizer Ghidorah, who is brutally murdered in battle. Rodan returned to Monster Island to live out the rest of his days in peace.
