Description
EDIT: Finally fixed the one thing that didnt fully convince me in this piece: The tilted top road.I've been working on this on and off for a few weeks now. Was never really a priority. It's like that piece of clay that you play with when you're bored.
I've always liked doing these "long" pieces. They allow me so much freedom because I'm not constricted to any sizes. Though this time I did try to limit it to 11x36, so that when dA Prints makes panoramic prints available again, then I’ll be able to get a frame for it without having to dig too much.
The idea is the same as the first Space Lane, so this is merely an exploration of how I would pull off the same concept after 1.5 years of extra experience.
Yet I think it's pretty different in many ways.
My favorite part is probably the larger nebula that's right between the 2 planets. It may look familiar to you, then that is why it's the one I used in the month of November for the 2005 calendar, but much more refined. I may actually submit it as a separate print altogether after I play around with its colors a bit more. In this case, I had to change them so that they would fit the rest of the piece; but when stand-alone, I could pretty much use any color theme. The final print was somewhere in the neighborhood of 3,200 x 10,000. That made a hefty PSD file
Space art doesn’t excite me as much as it used to. It could be considered a "phase" for me. I will paint the occasional nebula and galaxy, but I think that I've covered enough ground in that department and now there are things that excite me more, like mixes of design and abstract (non-3d) art.
As usual, I’m open to suggestions and constructive criticism.

Hi!
I love your artwork and I would like to know if you plan on doing another one of these?
I would also like to buy them both as print but they seem to be only available in small sizes.. What gives?
Best Regards!

They are available in big sizes, though. I have them on prints as 12x36. They aren't available as bigger because the first one wasn't high resolution enough and it would be a pain to find a frame of such size, even custom ones.

HOLY CRAP!! This is SO AMAZING!! It has completely blown my mind. I love the upside-down road. I love the colours!! The middle is def. my favourite part. I like this so very much, it is very very large though, and I can't view the whole thing at once. D:
Still, I love this. EXCELLENT.

Damn! Then try right clicking on it and hit "view image." This should open it in a new window and zoom it out automatically.

You probably thought "O.o" because that's what the big planet and the smaller moon look like
