Crystal’s POV
My brother, James Darwin, took me to the park. He might be 6, but he is really smart for his age. Really, he does. He thinks like an adult! When we got to the park, we went strait to the playground. We both went on the swings and started to swing, well, James started to swing.
“James, can you help me?” I asked.
“Of course sis!” He said with a smile, got off and started to push me. I love my older brother. He helps me with every situation and always has a smile on his face. We heard sirens’ near by.
“I feel bad for those people with the fire,” I told him.
“Yea…. Wanna go see?” He asked.
“Usually, I would say yes, but I wanna play!” I nagged.
“Fine,” He smiled and we continued to play in the playground. Later at night, we walked home to find a horrible discovery. Our home looked like it was in fire, like everything was brown, black and in ash.
James went to a fireman and asked, “What happened?”
“Someone set this place on fire. We are searching for that person right now. Do you live here with that girl over there?” The fireman asked. James nodded.
“Well, sorry to say, but your parents and younger sister died in the fire,” He told James with a tear in his eye. James nodded with his head down and walked to me. “James, who do you think did this?” I asked. He ignored me and this is where it all started.

The school bell has rung and everyone rushed to the school door to get out. I went to my locker and grabbed my things. “Ready?” James asked. I turned back and nodded. We both walked out of the school. “Hey James!” My friend, Emily SantaAna called.
James turned and asked, “What the hell do you want?”
“I know who likes you!” She said with her childish voice.
“Whatever! I don’t care who likes me or not!” James snapped and then walked away.
“What’s his prob?” Emily asked me.
“He has been like this every since the fire killed our family,” I explained.
“Oh, Okay,” She said quietly and then walked away. I ran to James and walked home with him. Once we were home, we went inside and James ran to his room. “James still sad about the fire?” Our guardian, Alice Cardinol, asked.
“I think so,” I replied as I put my stuff down and continued, “Can I go for a walk around? And please don’t tell James, I want to have some alone time.”
“Of course you can but please be careful, Okay?” She asked.
“I promise and will,” I told her as I grabbed my iphone from my backpack, connected my ear plugs to it and put them in my ears. I waved goodbye and went outside. I put up my music loud and went off walking.
Later, when it was dark, I was in the deep city, where all the crime was, but I wasn’t too afraid. I have walked here many times and nobody ever tried to kill me or anything. I was listening to I hate everything about you by. Three days Grace, when a 13 year old girl went crying to me and hugged me tight.
I stroked her hair and asked, “What’s wrong?”
She cried, “One Direction was in a car crash and they are all dead!” I was about to cry, but I held back my tears.
“Its okay, maybe you can join the beliebers?” I asked her.
“I am one, but I am more of a Directioner than a Belieber. Its just not the same,” She started to cry again.
“Don’t cry, love. They are in a better place now, away from all of the hate,” I told her.
“Yea, your right,” She sniffed and whipped her tears, “Sorry for bothering you.”
“Its okay, you didn’t bother me,” I said. She nodded and walked away. I continued my walk. A couple minutes later, I heard 5 boys talking about One Direction’s tragic death in a dark alley. I sneakily stepped forward to the nearest wall and took a good look at the boys.
The curly cutie pounced on one of the other boys. They both snarled and snapped and clawed each other. I gasped when I realized….. They ARE One Direction!
