Here's the final look on this piece! Getting here was quite a journey.

What I wanted to do from the beginning is do a painted piece with what I've learned over the past six months. What I ended up doing is learning a whole new process on how to create a digital painting.

My second stab at this was to pull back and do a black and white tonal painting and then add color afterward. That unquestionably helped with a lot of what I struggle with when painting.

I got the benefit of having a strong foundation BEFORE adding color.

I also tried something new while coloring that I'll be using from now on, but I'll talk about that later.
